NHS 111 is non-emergency service for urgent medical help or advice. It is available every day, 24 hours a day. Use NHS 111 online (111.nhs.uk) or call 111. You can use this link to access the NHS 111 British Sign Language (BSL) Service

Local pharmacies can provide expert, confidential health advice and treatment for a range of common illnesses, allergies, aches and pains and other complaints. Many are open evenings and weekends. Visit the NHS website to 'Find a Pharmacy' near you.

There is an urgent treatment centre at The New QEII Hospital in Welwyn Garden City which is open every day from 9am to 8pm and can help you with a range of minor illnesses and injuries. This is for urgent but not life-threatening situations only. The NHS website has more information about when to visit urgent treatment centres (urgent care services)
