Dr Cockburn will be retiring as a partner of Baldock Surgery on the 31st July 2026.
Here is a message from Dr Cockburn:
I have been a GP at the Baldock practice for over 35 years and will retire at the end of July.
A lot has happened since starting here in October 1990 including many changes in primary care and in the way we have tried to look after our patients. I have enjoyed great support and camaraderie from so many valued and respected colleagues. But most of all, I feel privileged to have worked in this community and got to know so many people and families.
I cannot imagine having had a more enjoyable or fulfilling career and for that I extend my sincere thanks to you all.
